Weapons and calisthenics go together very well.

Simulated sword fights help to build footwork, grip stamina, and flexibility. Much like JKD one must practice Vunak Kali to maintain stamina and forward moving pressure.

Wrist flexibility and grip strength can be challenged with pulling and pushing movements stacked with rounds of carenza.

And of course the best abdominal exercise Swiss Ball Pikes.

Use it or lose it is truer than young people really understand.
